This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) explains how Laika’s Laundry (“we,” “our,” “us”) handles the processing, packaging, and delivery of all products purchased through our website at LaikasLaundry.com.
By placing an order, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below.


2. Order Processing

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving full payment and order confirmation.

  • Made-to-Order or Specialty Items: Some products, especially certain sizes or styles, may require additional time to produce before shipping. Any extended lead times will be listed on the product page or communicated directly to you.

  • Address Accuracy: Please ensure your shipping address and contact information are complete and accurate. Laika’s Laundry is not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or lost packages due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details.


3. Shipping Rates and Methods

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on destination, carrier, and order weight.
We currently use trusted carriers including:

  • USPS (United States Postal Service)

  • UPS

  • FedEx

Occasionally, shipping promotions such as Free Shipping may apply and will be clearly indicated at checkout.


4. Domestic Shipping (U.S.)

  • Standard Shipping: Estimated delivery within 3–7 business days after dispatch.

  • Expedited Shipping: Available at an additional cost, with estimated delivery in 1–3 business days, depending on your location.

  • All delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. Weather conditions, carrier delays, or other unforeseen factors may affect transit times.


5. International Shipping

At this time, Laika’s Laundry ships only within the United States.
We do not currently offer international shipping. If this changes, our policy will be updated accordingly.


6. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number.
Tracking updates may take up to 24 hours to appear after the package has been scanned by the carrier.
You can track your order directly through the carrier’s website.


7. Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

  • Laika’s Laundry is not responsible for packages lost, stolen, or damaged once they are accepted by the carrier.

  • If you believe your package is missing or damaged:

    1. Contact the shipping carrier to open a claim.

    2. Then email us at laikaslaundry@gmail.com with your order number and claim details.

We will assist where possible but cannot guarantee carrier compensation or replacement unless the claim is approved by the carrier.


8. Returned or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, unclaimed delivery, or refusal:

  • You may request reshipment by paying any additional shipping fees.

  • Alternatively, you may request a refund for the item(s) minus the original shipping cost.

If an order was shipped under a “Free Shipping” promotion, the actual cost of shipping will be deducted from the refund.


9. Pre-Orders and Backorders

Estimated ship dates for pre-orders or backorders will appear on the product page.
These dates are estimates only and subject to change based on production or carrier availability.
If significant delays occur, you’ll be notified via email with options to wait, modify, or cancel the order.


10. Split Shipments

Orders with multiple items may be fulfilled from different warehouses and shipped separately.
You’ll receive a separate tracking number for each package.


11. Risk of Loss

All products are shipped under a shipment contract.
Ownership and risk of loss for your order pass to you once the package is handed over to the carrier.
Laika’s Laundry is not responsible for damages or losses occurring in transit.


12. Signature Confirmation

Orders valued at $200 USD or more may require a signature upon delivery for security and insurance purposes.


13. Force Majeure

Laika’s Laundry shall not be held liable for delays or failures in shipping due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, or carrier-related disruptions.


14. Limited Liability

Under no circumstances shall Laika’s Laundry be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from shipping delays or errors beyond the cost of the original order.
